PILATES

This class is based on the works of Joseph Pilates. It focuses on breathing synchronized with core strength training exercises. You will gain flexibility, coordination, muscle control and muscle tone in your core area (abdominals, obliques and lower back). The class is designed to accommodate all levels of experiences thus variations and modifications are provided to the students. At the discretion of the instructor, the following equipment may be used: Stott Pilates®, FitnessCircle®, Stott Pilates® FlexBand®, Stability Ball and Poz-A-Ball. Instructor's style of teaching is Stott Pilates®.

Yoga

This class designed to provide the traditional Yoga Experience. It focuses on breathing synchronized with yoga poses. You will increase strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness. The class is designed to accommodate all levels of experiences thus the instructor "builds" on each pose. Instructor's style of teaching is YogaFit®.

Hot Yoga

So what is this HOT YOGA and how HOT does it really get? Hot Yoga is a twenty-six asana series designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons, in the order in which they should be stretched. This 90 minute yoga class, in a heated studio, energizes your body and mind. It is designed to stretch, strengthen and restore health to all parts of the body. No Yoga experience is required and all ages and levels of fitness are welcome. Laurie will lead you in this wonderful stretch every Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

Terri has been teaching since July 1997. She is certified and qualified to teach: Hula, Group Fitness (Step, Slide, BOSU, Hi/Lo Impact Aerobics, Body Sculpting), Stability Ball, Yoga and Pilates.

Patty

Patty teaches the Saturday morning Yogafit class at 9:30. She has 20+ years of fitness experience. She is AFAA certified with additional certifications in Aerobics and Step, and personal training. Patty has been Yogafit certified since 2003 years and is a level 2 instructor.

Laurie

Laurie is a certified massage therapist and Bikram-trained yoga instructor.
